What are the best ways to beat stress?

What I have experienced is that stress is a cycle of same thought that leads to brain fatigue unless prompt action is taken. It starts when we try to control, uncontrollables.

This activates the body's stress response, which releases hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline, leading to physiological changes such as increased heart rate, respiration, and blood pressure.

The physiological changes then lead to cognitive changes, such as racing thoughts, difficulty concentrating, and negative thinking patterns, which in turn can exacerbate the physiological response, creating a cycle of stress.

Though it's hard to initiate to break this cycle of stress, but if we could just start without thinking anything and engaging in other activities not necessarily to be at a complete different place but just switching and engaging thought process to something else. Also, could try :

  1. Deep breathing, spa, body massage, blanking mind and yoga are some techniques that can help calm the body's physiological response.

  2. Most productive would be to find solution for the stress inducer by thinking calmly and prompt small steps .

  3. Cognitive restructuring: This involves identifying and challenging negative thoughts and replacing them with more positive, realistic ones. Techniques such as mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and positive self-talk can help with this.

  4. Conversation with favorite people

  5. Sleep, hot bath with music, eating, dance and engaging in activities that bring joy and relaxation can help to reduce stress levels and improve overall well-being
